Tibial Nerve Posterior Thigh

Posterior thigh:

The tibial nerve is one of the components of the sciatic nerve. In the posterior thigh it is anterior to the hamstring muscles where they overlap it proximally. Distally the nerve becomes more superficial as it enters the area of the popliteal fossa.
